OneTravel Reviews 2016

Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change in a span of a year, that’s why we decided on re-writing some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.

In this review, we will be re-talking about OneTravel.

OneTravel Reviews 2016

It wasn’t easy to find the origins and ownership of OneTravel because there are also limited information found online about them. There’s not even a trace of who founded it. What is their story? Who is their CEO? But, basically all the information posted are just the ones shown on their actual site. Onetravel was established around the mid-nineties at a barn in Pennsylvania and is said to had grown to be globally recognized in the US and internationally.

OneTravel is now headquartered in the renowned major resort city known primarily for gambling; Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Now, let’s see how OneTravel had been doing after a year.

How does OneTravel work?

OneTravel is like other travel sites which let travellers search and compare an array of choices for flights either it’s one-way or roundtrip flights, hotel accommodations, car rental services, and vacation deals. The overall layout of OneTravel hadn’t changed. We can’t say it’s less appealing but they kept their interface neat, simple, and organized.
OneTravel caters to all types of consumer demographics. A few specialties include the following: Student Travel, Senior Travel, Ethnic Travel with a focus on India and Gay and Lesbian Travel. It’s like Airbnb, Misterbnb, and other non-bias travel accommodation in one.

Another good thing about OneTravel is their travel app. Users, either Android or iOS, are showing a great acknowledgement about the overall functionality of OneTravel’s mobile application. Maybe one good factor about this is they tend to keep their app updated every now and then. However, complaints appear to be everywhere and this seems to be the reason why OneTravel nowadays had been infamous.

  1. I bought with the help of “One Travel” a plane ticket company “Transaero” from Russia to America and back. A return ticket was gone – ruined Russian company. “One Journey” has promised to return the money for the missing ticket. I waited 3 months and as a result they refused to compensate my loss.
