China Southern Airlines is one of three major airlines in China, serving 193 destinations and is in alliance with SkyTeam. The airline traces its roots back to July 1, 1988. The current president and CEO of the airline is a 51-year-old Chinese man: Mr. Wan Geng Tan. He has been the CEO since January 2009.

Reading through several mixed negative and positive China Southern Airlines Reviews, I can see passengers somehow are not fully satisfied with the service of the airline. On a positive note, the airlines has been garnering more appreciation than complaints. It seems like the wave of bad tide was over and we believe that they are good surfers, in which they can ride along the big waves which will hit them in the future.   1. Flying from New York JFK to Guangzhou on 3rd February 2016. Very impressive service. Plenty of food, comfy seat, and landed on time. Most impressive was cabin service staff who were professional and took good care of the passengers. A bit surprised that cellphone must be turned off completely, not even flight mode permitted, and not able to listen to music off line.
