EuropeanDestinations Reviews

EuropeanDestinations is a product of Tripmasters.com which has been operated by Solar Tours since 1984. The aim of this online travel itinerary agency is to provide travelers their necessities in travelling at its finest. EuropeDestinations is led by the President and CEO of Solar Tours, Mr. & Mrs. Checa (Rafael and Maria).

Mr. Rafael Checa once said in an interview about EuropeanDestinations, We provide a personalized experience to the consumer by providing them with suggested itineraries they can select from. They have the options to just modify travel dates and length of stay for any part of the itinerary, build on from our suggestions, or completely create their own customized package. We offer a wide selection of hotels, activities and transportation options from which to choose. We also post feedback from consumers of past vacations that may help others in planning their trips.”

Why EuropeanDestinations

I was personally confused using EuropeanDestinations, the small fonts all over made me feel slightly dizzy, I wonder how other visually impaired travelers will work this through. Anyway, the layout of EuropeanDestinations shows an option for customers to build their itinerary or find and customize packages.

On a positive note, the right-hand side of the page shows a list of up-to-date and the most popular itineraries, even showing how many nights and the prices offered. In this section, customers can also search for other trips people have already taken wherein travelers can choose what country they should start searching. There’s an option to subscribe to their mailing list, which is shown right below this section.

The left-hand side of EuropeanDestinations is their promotion section where customers can learn more about Europe’s tourist attractions. Also, this section provides a list of top countries, cities in Europe, and highlights of best sellers and markets.

Their customer service number (1-877-267-2247) is functional 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. However, if customers want to chat with a live agent, a “Chat with US!”  icon is located at the top right of the page. EuropeanDestinations is generous with their payment policy that they accept credit card or PayPal and even staggered payments.

Why NOT EuropeanDestinations?

Most of the EuropeanDestinations reviews are warning travelers to stay away from them, the recent ones being popular on social media sites for their comments. One reviewer even said they booked their hotel accommodation through EuropeanDestinations but once they got to the booked hotel, the reception said there were no booking placed on that day and the room is already occupied. The customer never got a refund.

Conclusion

I would bluntly say that EuropeanDestinations is legit, but not worthy. However, they are not that keen in providing customer service as they mentioned as 24/7. The reason I wrote this review was because someone suggested that I write about EuropeanDestinations. This is not a paid review. That person had an awful experience with the tailor-made itineraries which were designed to help, NOT disappoint travelers, either in groups or as an individual.

  1. This is the second time I use European Destinations. Both times to Paris. I had no issues with them the first time, everything was booked according to plan without issue. The package cost I thought was much cheaper than booking it elsewhere or as individual parts. Plus, you can pay in installments. We’ve used them this year for our August trip, and thus far no problems. I’ve recommended them to some of our friends that are planning future trips to Europe.
