EVA Air Reviews
During the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Evergreen Marine Corporation’s founding in September 1988, chairman Chang Yung-fa announced his company’s intentions to establish Taiwan’s first private international airline. EVA Airways Corporation was formally established in March 1989 though it was originally to be called Evergreen Airways, however this was deemed too similar to the unrelated Evergreen International cargo airline. EVA Air has been a full member of Star Alliance since June 2013.
The name “EVA” was taken from the two letters of “Evergreen” and the first letter of “Airways.” The name “EVA” is always spelled in capital letters. The airline uses the logo of its parent company, using green with an orange trim. EVA Air successfully commenced operations in July 1991. Now, the Taiwanese international airline carries a mixed fleet of 67 Airbus and Boeing aircraft serving 74 international destinations. Mr. Chuan-Yi Cheng served as President of EVA Air Corp since 2013.

Also, cuisines from all over the world like the Western and Chinese menus are served.
Duty free shopping is offered on board with EVA Sky Shop. In-Seat Power Supply is available in Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel, Elite and Economy Class seats on selected aircraft. Passengers can send short messages to friends and relatives through the SMS/e-mail service at any time during their flight.

In November 2015, Eva Air unrevealed a new livery on their 22nd 777 along with new boarding music and improved service on board.
Like other airlines, EVA Air has a loyalty program called Infinity MileageLands. Members of the Infinity MileageLands can not only benefit from streamlined reservation procedures and airport privileges but can also enjoy accelerated mileage accumulation. Their journeys could be arranged to be more flexible, smoother and more comfortable.
Official Website and Mobile app
It’s heartbreaking that the official website of EVA Air is not modernized. On a positive note, it is designed simple and easy to navigate. The web page provides travellers all the information needed online like about the airlines’ services, policies and news. Customers can check-in online, make and manage a booking, they can even check their flight status. Infinity MileageLands members and non-members can educate themselves more about the program on this website.
Apart from information, their website provides a list of special offers and highlights at the bottom of the page. This will also give a direct link to their social media accounts. EVA Air had already extended their services on smartphones. All of these functionalities mentioned above can be accessed on a mobile version with their travel app downloadable on the App Store and Google Play Store.
EVA Air Reviews of Passengers
I kind of expect EVA Air reviews on Skytrax to be above average, and they are. With an overall rating of 8/10, it means the airline has really been good at maintaining its service for 25 years. Even having 5 cabin classes, “EVA Air still provides an exclusive treatment to all”, as one reviewer said.
