Hawaii Travel Guide

Hawaii’s name was derived from a legendary figure named Hawai’iloa. It was believed that Hawai was the one who discovered the islands and named the biggest island Hawai’i, hence the name Hawaii.

Hawaii was molded by the power of volcanoes during the ancient days. Despite the threat of active volcanoes, Hawaii is still one of the best travel destinations in the world.

Hawaii is known as the Paradise of the Pacific and home to many active volcanoes. Many people say that Hawaii is the best place to escape the haggard life and enter the “Aloha State.” Let’s see the best features of the State.

Climate

Weather is one of the factors you have to consider before travelling, so thank God for airlines and travel sites who provides daily information about weather conditions for different destinations. Be aware of what you’re getting into, you might find yourself regretting the plane ticket you bought and whine about the weather being different from what you expected.

Dry seasons (spring and summer) prevails from May to September with a high percentage of tropical cyclones. The cold seasons (fall and winter) then took over from October through april. The temperature during summer and winter are not that different from each other. The average temperature during dry seasons ranges from 29–32 °C (85–90 °F), while cold seasons hits the temperature of 26–28 °C ( 79–83 °F)

Summer is considered the “low seasons” because of the low percent of accommodations for hotel reservations, car rentals and resort guests. Flight tickets are also expected to increase with their price rates. On the other hand, winter is called the “high season” because of the large number of visitors who are hoping to spend christmas and the new year’s in Hawaii. However, you might expect things to be more affordable since people are coming one after another, wrong, price rates for accommodations increase.
