Las Vegas Review
Las Vegas, also known as Sin City, where thousands of couples have said their vows and millions of people lost all of their money. The most populated city in Nevada was founded on May 15th, 1905 and incorporated on March 16th, 1911.
The city’s name was given by Mexican scout Raphael Rivera in 1829 when they were travelling to Los Angeles. During that time, the valley contained a lot of artesian wells surrounded by green areas, hence the name Las Vegas, in Spanish is “the meadows.”
One thing to remember about Las Vegas, the nightlife is powerful and alive.
Most people prefer a cool weather because it’s more relaxing, physically and psychologically. They want the weather to be just right, not too hot, not too cold, just fairly perfect. There have been many studies proving that the weather can affect people’s mood, so balanced weather is probably the best.
Las Vegas annually experiences all four seasons. Spring begins as early as February until April, summer begins in June and last through September. Autumn and winter last for only two months, October and November for Autumn, then December to January for winter.
The estimated number for sunny days in Vegas is 310, meaning winter is very short and the weather during those times is mild. The city has a subtropical, hot desert climate. The hottest month every year is July that reaches 38°C (100 °F) and the coldest month is December with an average temperature of 8.7 °C (47.7 °F).
Activities & Outdoor Adventures:
When you say Vegas, what is the first thing that pops in your head? Casinos, meaning gambling all day and night long. Considered as the “Gambling Capital of the World,” there are over 70 casinos in the city. Most people drive or fly to Vegas to spend money hoping to make more money through gambling. But in terms of leisure, Vegas has so much to offer. Why not see the Jersey Boys perform live or go to MGM Grand and try to catch a world-boxing match.
