Singapore Airlines Reviews
The island city-state off southern Malaysia, where this island never ceases to amaze natives and even tourists. For Yakult lovers, Singapore is the best country for you since they have the biggest Yakult bottles in Southeast Asia. Even if they have Lion City, there are no literal lions there. To avoid misleading information, Singapore is not located in Malaysia (located NEAR Malaysia, but not part). We are talking about the city-state Singapore in Southeast Asia not the Singapore in Michigan, USA.
Enough of facts, let’s get straight to our topic. Let us unfold the wonders of their flag carrier. Yes, this review is not about trivia, but all about travelling with Singapore Airlines.
In The Beginning…
Its first inaugural flight was a route from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on April 2, 1947. This was followed by the continuous growth of the airlines in the 1940s and 1950s, the majority of it was held by the government of Singapore and Temasek Holdings.
Now, Singapore Airlines consists of 109 aircraft that reach 64 routes domestically and internationally. As a Star Alliance member, the national airline of Singapore has codeshare agreements with the following: Garuda Indonesia, JetBlue Airways, Malaysia Airlines, SilkAir, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin America, Virgin Australia and Vistara.
The national airline is known for their “Singapore Girls” or its female flight attendants. Central in Singapore Airlines’ livery is a logo of a bird, inspired by a silver kris derived from keris, a dagger shown in the featured region’s myth and folklore. Since 1987, the split of Malaysia-Singapore Airlines, the symbol of stripes and the bird remain the same.
As mentioned above, Singapore Girls are actually the main attraction of the airline. But not literally, since these girls were world-renowned due to their advertisements. It was easy to promote the airlines too. Well, Singapore Airlines is not all about their flight attendants’ popularity, but also about their hospitality toward each customer on board.
Passengers can enjoy Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class services inflight, wherein they are offered a wide range of food options. Furthermore, regional dishes are often served such as the Kyo-Kaiseki, Shi Quan Shi Mei and Shahi Thali, but this may also depend on what class and route the flight is.

The page actually looks elegant with its vibrant colors of royal blue and gold. The fonts and layout are organized properly, which make the site easily understood and navigated. Like other major airlines, the Singaporean carrier background is a flashing image of the rich culture of Singapore, service and latest offers.

The customer was actually an Australian traveler who flew route Adelaide to Singapore. He flew with the airlines before, but was happy to know that Singapore Airlines was still good. He even added that the staff were helpful, the seats comfortable and he will definitely fly with Singapore Airlines again.

In The End…
Who would think that this airline will keep going up? Last year being on the 3rd place, now reaching the 2nd place out of The World’s Top 100 Airlines in 2015 by Skytrax’s World Airline Awards, who knows? They might be number one for this year. Their service is truly world-class and the way they do their business is flawless in all angles.
