ThinkHotels is a British online hotel search engine founded in 2004 but commenced operation for online booking in 2012. The online hotel search engine based in London now has over 50 employees who specialize in hotel reservations and group bookings. In 2013, ThinkHotels started a B2B partnership with TripAdvisor and was sponsored by Baguley Athletic Football Club in 2014.
In August 2015, ThinkHotels partnered with Zomato, a restaurant search and discovery service like OpenTable to extend their food service broadly for more audience and attractions. The merge of these two companies rooted from their similar vision, in expanding their growth in their respective departments and marketing more customers. Both are different kinds of search engine and this joint venture will help them to look at each other’s back in the field they are not familiar with.
Let’s think about ThinkHotels
Initially, travelers get to notice the flashing images in ThinkHotels as attractions known worldwide and overlapping these pictures is an option to “Book a Hotel” or the main feature of the site to search, compare and book hotel reservations. Since the partnership with TripAdvisor, ThinkHotels had added their logo together with the company logo shown on the top right where they are enticed with the slogan: “Think Places… Think Prices”
Aside from the option for hotel reservations, ThinkHotels also encourages travelers to more famous and top destinations. The Destinations icon shown on the top right next to Home, leads consumers to a page where countries are categorized by continents and once you select one country it will give you cities and the sum total of hotels, they can process a booking reservation.
However, given the generosity of the hotel agency site, there’s no mobile application available yet to access their services using mobile phones.
ThinkHotels Reviews of Consumers
The online hotel meta search engine got an overall rating of 8.5 out of 10 by Trustpilot.com and above average by Feefo. ThinkHotels had made a good impression from consumers, some even said that they are simple but magnificent, very easy and reliable, excellent rates and they are looking forward to book with them again. The Truspilot site only has a total of 6 ThinkHotels reviews dated from several consecutive months.
The most recent review was posted on the 25th of August 2015 with a 5/5 rating, the reviewer said “Last saturday I went to London to attend the seminar and there I decided to book a hotel for stay and I was fully satisfied with the luxurious comforts and service of ThinkHotels. It was totally amazing experience to stay there. I wish to have trip again and will visit once again and use ThinkHotels.”

Not Convinced and Still Puzzled.
After scanning through ThinkHotels reviews, I am convinced that this London based hotel search engine is reliable and one of the most competitive sites I have written about. They were able to gain customer’s trust and consumers’ loyalty. Their positive and optimistic strategy in accommodating travelers in all aspects made their mark as one of the most recommended travel marketing sites. However I am puzzled why I never heard the name as listed in the The Best Online Travel Sites of 2015.
