Why Travel Now?

Travelnow Reviews-pageTravelnow had recently changed the interface of their official site, though the main and only feature of Travelnow to search for hotel reservations was retained. Fortunately, unlike before, if customers don’t have a specific hotel preference, they may select from customized searches given. But now, there are no recommendations at all. On a positive note, customers can find their booking online or send feedback.

The promo code which was promptly offered once customers booked with Travelnow is no longer available. To optimize your searching, you can change the language and country currency found at the top right of the page. To add to that, “customer service: manage your booking” is shown above the language selector.

After clicking “manage your booking,” it would lead to a page where it’s asking for an itinerary number. This section is where customers can view or cancel their reservations. What’s interesting is that the website immediately asks credit card information for customers to view a reservation. Some customers asked if this is their way to do unauthorized credit card charges.

Travelnow Reviews of Consumers

Travelnow Reviews-complaintsAll I can say after reading all of those negative Travelnow reviews is (yes, you heard me right they are all complaints and frustrations) is I will never even dare use Travelnow. Word of mouth is the Achilles heel of any business, and in this case, Travelnow has its heel shot deep. On ConsumerAffairs, 107 Travelnow reviews prove that the travel site only deserves a ⅕ rating. According what we learned, Travelnow complaints include hidden and unwanted charges. As one recent reviewer said:

“My partner and I were staying at a hotel in Kyoto for 8 nights and wanted to extend this by 1 day and Travelnow were involved by my local travel agency and without being quoted a price for this they took £262 from my credit card for a hotel that was costing us £85 a night”

This wasn’t the only case with this concern. Other Travelnow reviews are complaining about poor customer service and the sudden cancellation of bookings, which is really troublesome.

Conclusion

Based from the facts and information, and with the help of other Travelnow reviews, I came to the conclusion of not recommending Travelnow to anyone. It’s obviously an unreliable travel companion. The sole purpose of online travel sites is easing the difficulty of travelers to find the cheapest deals for them. However, in this set of Travelnow reviews, this online hotel booking agency is adding more confusion than offering solutions.

  1. I tried to call a hotel to see if they had availability and was connected to this site and the telephone operator lied and said the hotel we wanted was booked (subsequently, I found out they have plenty of availability) and said the hotel was on the ocean and it was four stars. I went online 2 min. after and it was 2 stars and on the center median of the highway! It was a welfare motel!! This is a total scam
