TravelSupermarket Reviews

What do you do normally in a supermarket? It depends if you have a list of things you need to buy or are just doing random shopping by grabbing what you would need or want. A supermarket is the super version of a regular market or a large self-service store selling foods and household goods. How about on your dream vacation or escapade? Are you prepared? Do you have a must-visit list or are you the type of person who wants to get inspired by lurking randomly through inspiring travel sites?

Origins of TravelSupermarket

TravelSupermarket Reviews-Simon Nixon
Simon Nixon

Mr. Simon Nixon is a rich young entrepreneur who started the idea for Moneysupermarket in 1999. He was a student at Nottingham University and shortly after leaving the university, he became a mortgage advisor. That’s when he launched his ever successful moneysupermarket which provides mortgage information online. Soaring high with his masterpiece, Mr. Simon’s revenue created three more businesses; Money, Insurance and Travel verticals. Later, Travel verticals was known as TravelSupermarket in 2003.

Shopping Travel Deals with TravelSupermarket

We quite noticed that TravelSupermarket had recently updated the overall layout. Now it looks more modernized than the old one.

The new TravelSupermarket might have physically changed, but the services are similar to booking holidays, flights, hotel reservations, car rental services and insurance. What makes TravelSupermarket more appealing now is the background of a seashore sunset view. This didn’t take away the idea that TravelSupermarket is still an orange-themed holiday booking site. It’s noticeable that the design of the new TravelSupermarket is flexible to PC or mobile versions.

TravelSupermarket Reviews of Customers

Searching for TravelSupermarket reviews, it shows that customers’ feedback were dated back to 2010 and 2014. Although there’s one in 2015 on Trustpilot rated with 1 star but overall shows 6/10. That doesn’t seem right sum total. After checking on TripAdvisor, it won’t be helpful if we based their eligibility through that. We saw ReviewCentre, this was a better basis of their services’ impact to customers. The most recent TravelSupermarket reviews show tons of complaints about the travel site’s prices that are never as they seem.

But one review really caught our attention. He titled his review as “They endorse Opodo on there site worse company on the planet“. To see more of these TravelSupermarket reviews, click here.

Stay Away from TravelSupermarket

The agenda of focusing on holidays was a good idea by Mr. Nixon to invite more customers to TravelSupermarket. However online travel agencies led by someone who is not even a travel enthusiast himself may really lack some important values in terms of aviation or travelling needs. If Mr. Nixon tries to innovate within the online travel industry, maybe TravelSupermarket will have good competition with other online travel agencies.

  1. this is not like a supermarket where you can come in and leave with what you need. For me this is a casino, it’s like gambling your savings like there’s only small chances of winning and more on being scammed. Please do not follow what I’ve been through them. Look for another travel site instead.
