Travelup Reviews

Travelup was founded in 2004 and that’s the only information given about the history of the company. However, their social media accounts show that Travelup was founded on the 1st of January 1998. Whether of which, it’s quite confusing. It is somehow shown that the founder of F6S is also the leader of Travelup:
Leslie-Ann O’Brien. Feel free to be the judge.

What is Travelup?

Well, that was an odd way to start a review about a British online travel agency. But, there’s not much information found about the origin and ownership of the travel site. However, based on their company description, Travelup had been servicing customers with their travelling needs.
They had extensive experience for over ten years now in providing affordable rates from their Reading base. The services they cater are the following: flights, hotel reservations, car rentals, travel insurance, airport parking, and Australian visas.

Since the last time we checked about Travelup, their web page is actually not modernized. But, it seems like they had recently updated their interface and I am quite impressed with how it looks like now.

Travelup Reviews-mobile appFlashing images of promotions in motion are shown as the first part of the website and when the customer scrolls down, the option to search for their desired flights is shown. But, if the traveller doesn’t have a specific location yet, Travelup offers a list of Popular Destinations below too. Another good thing about Travelup is they have a newsletter service wherein customers can sign up and get the latest updates and offers.

Payments are done via credit card, but there will be a 2% charge on all major credit cards such as Visa, Delta, Amex, Maestro, and Mastercard. And, yes, Travelup has a mobile application though it’s still outdated since the last update shown on Google Play Store was back in 2013. To be honest, we can’t find if Travelup has an application in the App Store.

Travelup Reviews of Consumers

Reading through several Travelup reviews online, the British travel site had been garnering a lot of appreciation from consumers. However, it’s quite catchy that others are still complaining about Travelup. Some had even advised others to avoid the company at all costs. But, what really saddens us are the Travelup reviews shown on Yelp which show a lot of fraudulent activities and negligence of the travel site itself. I wonder how they work this things out too?

  • Website URL:
  • Contact number:             0118-956-6464 / 44 87 1250 2510
  • Contact Email:
  • Fax Number:                    44 11 8324 8888
  • Head Office Address:     511, Oxford Road Reading,  RG30 1HF United Kingdom

To be honest, I am not quite sure with the credibility of this travel site. But, just to make sure, we scanned through Travelup reviews. And, as mentioned above, it didn’t show a pretty picture to raise the legitimacy of the site. Maybe because the initial build up of the company wasn’t even enough. If a business is successful, then there should be brief history on how it started and routed to where it is now.

  1. This is my second reservation, the first was highly complex, but Travelup got it all together exceptionally well. This second trip was by internet only and that was smooth as glass.
